“This body of work brings together my obsession with the beauty of the now Great River Road and my love of mixed media and textiles. Over the last 30 years I have been captivated by the expanses of mist that seem to create a bridge between the mountains, bushland and water of the Murray River. I find myself continuously, almost in a dream like state, returning to the imagery and representation of sky, water and mountains as an artistic experience.” 

Barbara is offering a workshop in dyeing techniques  
Saturday the 24th of November 

Barbara has been dyeing with natural dyes for 45 years and most recently with the contemporary leaf print which has just been discovered. An Experiential workshop sharing knowledge fabric dyeing techniques which take a nature print from botanicals and print onto textiles. Provided to each participant a 90cm square silk scarf /a 30cm square silk scarf/ woolen samples to dye. Morning and afternoon tea provided.
